Part Fourteen - Who is this?

We all know Michael had around some strange people during his own life. This sometimes makes you wonder why would he let people like that get close to him. To be honest i have no idea, maybe it was just like an old saying goes: “Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer”. One of the people that raises many questions is doctor Tohme Tohme. Who is this guy, how did he get to know Michael, What kind of a person ar we dealing with here? These are just a few of the questions that many people have about Tohme Tohme. And since he was right there at Jermaine’s side when the announcement about Michael’s death was made i felt the right thing to do to try to find some more information about Tohme Tohme

From what i was able to find Tohme Tohme was introduced to Michael by Michael’s brother Jermaine in the summer of 2008. According to NBC News Today it was during a time that Michael was in very bad shape. Not just Financial but also in bad shape with his health. Their evidence for Michaels bad health are the wheelchair pics from that time. According to them Michael was in desperate need for help to save Neverland and Tohme Tohme promissed Michael’s brother Jermaine that he would help Michael. I don’t know how many truth there is in this because as far as i know Jermaine has not spoken about how he introduces Michael to Tohme Tohme himself.

NBC news today also mentioned that they tried to check out Tohme Tohme. This man calles himself a doctor but as far as they could find he didn’t have a medical licence in any of the states where Tohme Tohme lived. Also Tohme Tohme claimed to be some kind of ambassedor for Senegal, but according to NBC the authorities in Senegal have never heard of Tohme Tohme in thier life. Another thing since the earlie 90’s there are Legal claims filed against Tohme Tohme for things as fraud till making threats. Tohme Tohme always resolved the suits before they ever went to trail without ever admitting any liability.

We have heard several people say that Tohme Tohme took total control of Michael’s life. Among those people are Michael’s spiritual advisor June, and Michael’s manager Frank. His spiritiual advisor even went so far that she put out a tape where she and Michael were talking about Michael’s fear regarding to Tohme Tohme. This tape was recorded in september 2008. According to here the tapes were made with Michael’s permission but that is something we will never know for sure. All we do know is that it was Michael’s voice on that tape. He was talking about that Tohme Tohme was in full control of his finances and he prevented Michael getting acces to the his own Financial papers. Also he prevented that Michael could talk to his lawyer, accountant and other representetives. According to NBC News today friends of Michael told them Tohme Tohme kept away Michael’s friends and even his own family from Michael.

Now again i noticed something strange here…again there are no signs of any security checks. Now why the hell didn’t security do that. Is that because Michael had put so much trust in his brother’s judgement about Tohme Tohme? Or did Michael just think “Hey my brother introduced me to this guy so he must be good”. Either way I don’t know what the story is behind this, but to me it’s odd that there was no security check. The only person who started to check out Tohme Tohme is Michael himself. And since the tape was recorded in september 2008, and they met somewhere in the summer of 2008 it didn’t take Michael a long time to find out that he was not able to trust Tohme Tohme.

For heaven’s sake Tohme Tohme even adimited himself he was in full control of Michael when he came into Michael’s life. His exact words where: “In the early days when i met Michael I was taking care of everything. I was taking care of his personal affairs, his business, his day to day life. When i came into Michael’s life i was the only one there.” This is the litterly quote of an interview Tohme Tohme give NBC News Today only two weeks after Michael was killed.

So while writing this down i fall from one surpise into another. If Michael was already to find out these things about Tohme Tohme, how does it come nobody else did. If you hear the taped convo Michael had with his spiritual advisor June, you can clearly hear her say: “ You can’t allow somebody to just be in total control of your life.” And Michael’s anwer was: “I totally agree with you, that’s why i’m calling you.” Now how are we suppose to take that? Is he just calling her to let her know what is happening at this point of is life? Or is this a way for Michael to say i’m telling you this because i need help and i’m reaching out to you to help me with this?”

At this time i can’t stop and wonder about it. To me it proves Michael didn’t trust Tohme Tohme and he informed people about what was going on. So there were people out there who knew about Michaels problems with Tohme Tohme and they did nothing? It so feels to me that so many people knew and they just let it go on and on and on…and for what? Was it part of some plan from some very bad people? Does it all have to do with the same fears Michael already had in the 80’s? Again we have something here that only raises more questions than it anwers and maybe we just need to look into things even more close than we are already doing. So let’s check out some of the things that happend and that involved this Tohme Tohme guy.

- Tohme Tohme helped to refinance Neverland. So Colony Capital came into the picture.
- Tohme Tohme negotioated the TII tour with AEG.
- Tohme Tohme made a deal about an auction but after Michael found out Michael made sure that his
belongings weren’t getting sold.
- Tohme Tohme was fired by Michael.
- Thome Thome got a letter from Michael that was written on may 5th 2009, saying he didn’t
represent Michael anymore.
- Tohme Tohme kept trying to interfear with Michael’s business.
- Tohme Tohmeclaimed he was still in control of Michael’s business right after Michael was killed.
- Tohme Tohme promissed severall people that they were allowed to interview him and that he would
come on talk shows. But he always backs out at the last minute.
- Tohme Tohme has now filed a Financial claim. Saying Michael owed him money.

Maybe there is a lot more that can be said about Tohme Tohme, and i think as time goes by we will sure find out more. Meanwhile i want to makei t clear that we don’t know how well Jermaine knows Tohme Tohme. Maybe Jermaine is just as much in the dark about Tohme Tohme as we all are. For Jermaine i can only hope that Tohme Tohme is not involved in any way in what happend to Michael on June 25th. Because if he is involved and if i would be the sister that introduced my brother to a person who is involved i don’t think i would be able to live with that guilt. That must be a cross that is just to heavy to carry.
