Part Eightteen - Legal and Medical mumbojumbo

You can see clearly on the coronor’s amandment, that was signed on august 28th, that the cause of death has changed from deffered to a homicide https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEitCVbtWwJxW7YKvZPacnbkQdcLEIFu25K0K2MraiOzGRj_1gunT9qaftECXH1c_w0U9SSnzMsEMDiiAytUued9a2-xj9Se8HNYbuS68gd31ErD25xWYNEV9BDwnAXbYnjeEUFCWczELVYL/s1600-h/jacko_cert2_81072a.jpg . Even though it was officially ruled a homicide on august 28th, the signs that they were investigating Michael’s case as a homicide already began to become more clear around juli 10th. I know very well that most of you understand what the words homicide means still this word leads to much confusion in other countries outside the USA. So maybe it’s best to first explain what homicide in the USA really means.

Homicide litterly means, a human killing another human. But this doesn’t always have to mean it is a criminal act, for instance in a case of self defence. Homicide includes many different degrees of ways that somebody is killed by another person. The words manslaughter and murder have already been mentioned often when it comes down to Michael’s case. Both manslaughter and murder are two things that are covered by the word Homicide. Since there are so many reports that mention involuntary manslaughter charges are to be expected we better take a closer look at what that means.

Involuntary manslaughter means nothing more and nothing less than that a person was killed without an intent to kill this person. In other words to say it as simple as possible yes you did kill a person but in no way we can proof you ment to do this. But there is a cath here in the case of Michael’s murder. There is a doctor involved that give Michael meds before he died so they do not only have to look at the part if CM commited Involuntary manslaughter. In this case they also have to find if CM has done something wrong by giving this medicine. That’s what they call negligence. In other words they have to proof he put his patient in danger even though he didn’t mean to kill Michael. Also there are different degrees again in what kind of negligence there are…but if you all don’t mind i will not go into that.

So far the police hasn’t presented their investigation to the D.A so everything you have read so far about possible charged being put on CM is just speculations. But since there is all this speculation i thought it would only be fair to try to explain this Legal mumbojumbo a bit more. I for one hope that when the police presents their case to the D.A they put the right charges on the right persons and that they can do that with all the people there are involved in Michael’s murder.

Let us take another look now at some other things in this death certificate and the coronor’s amandment. You can clearly see that the coronor says the cause of death is: Acute Propofol Intoxication. In simple words it means that Michael suddenly died after he was given propofol. Since we have all heard that the coronor also said there was a lethal amount of propofol found this means nothing more than that there was to much propofol in Michael’s body. We don’t know how much propofol was in Michael’s body, and it’s not easy to say what kind of amount is lethal when it comes down to propofol. This can be different for each person because administring propofol the right way to a person involves a lot of math. All the things that you have to count in on deciding how much propofol you have to give to somebody are, gender, height, weight, general health and other medications. So there is no easy answer to say this or that amount of propofol is lethal.

Now the coronor also mentioned that there are contibuting factors involved. He mentioned them as benzodiazepine effect.. Benzodiazepines are drugs that have a sedative or hypnotic effect. Benzodiazepines are often used to treat anxiety disorders, seizures and muscle spasms. This means that they all have an an effect on the central nervous system and have a sedative effect. Since there where benzodiazepines found in Michael’s body and they already effected his central nervous system you have to take that in account when you give propofol. If you don’t lower the dosage of propofol with benzodiazepines in your blood than the propofol can kill you and the benzodiazepines are a contibuting factor that lead to your death.

If we look a bit further we see that the coronor put down that the way propofol was given was by an intravinous injection by another. This means that the propofol was injected right into a vien by another person. So talks about that CM give propofol by injecting it in Michael’s musscles are wrong.
I’ll try to say what the coronor said in the easiest way possible. The coronor is saying: Michael Jackson died a sudden death because he got an overdose of propofol that was injected in his viens by another person that didn’t keep in account that Michael already was under the influence of other medications that were used.

I know many of you already understood it this way, but i really felt the need to explain this stuff a bit so we can all be on the same page about what killed Michael.

  1. Not only the amount of Propofol is important but also how fast it gets into your body. So maybe the IV-drip went to fast.
Btw, 25mg of Propofol would be nothing that kills you. And its a short acting drug. You would sleep for just a few minutes. So did Murray say the truth about the amount? Was the drip too fast? Or was it the benzodiazepine effect....

  2. Eu acredito que ele não Esteja falando a verdade quanto a quantidade ea forma da administração dessas drogas.
Pois depois de tantos remédios, ele ainda aplica uma dose fatal de Propofol.
    É algo pra se pensar.
